Ideal for Laser Iridotomy Procedures

This lens consists of a modified Goldmann type fundus lens with a 7.90 mm diameter +70 D plano-convex lens bonded to the anterior surface. The +70 D button lens helps in condensing the laser energy so that the procedure can be carried out at lower power settings. The anodized light metal rim gives a firm grip on the lens.

Our DrBawa YAG iridotomy lenses create high-detail views of the iris while their optics ensure an efficient transfer of laser energy for treatment of closed angle glaucoma. The Iridectomy Lens is built with a top-hat style “button” that provides a high magnification view. The rest of the lens surface gives a clear plano view of the surrounding iris so you find the optimal treatment site every time. Plus, the small lens body allows for easy manipulation and a laser window barrier protects internal optical components during use. It’s safe, simple and effective!
